Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,

What a fantastic time we have had for the last week of term. All the rain over the week had made some fantastic puddles which the children have loved jumping. If you your child has gumboots (or wellies as Miss Bowden calls them) we would love you to pack them. We try to encourage the children to only play in the puddles if they have gumboots on as they will wreck there other shoes, however children seem to be drawn to puddles.

To celebrate Red nose day on Friday some of the children and the staff wore red to school. In our classroom we made red cupcakes with Miss Tiarna. The children decided that not only was the icing going to be red but also the cakes themselves. We had a lovely afternoon tea sharing our cupcakes. There were so many left over that we were able to share them with our families as they came.

Thank you for all your support over the last term. We have loved teaching your children and watching them grow. We hope you have a lovely holiday and enjoy them holiday program.

From the Mattingley team.
