Langley

Dear families and friends of the Langley room,

This week we have continued to explore creatures that live underwater. We made a colourful school of fish mural using our hand prints, and turned them into fish by gluing googly eyes on them. We also had a rich discussion about how to care for our sea creatures by not polluting our water ways.
Anay – it goes in the garbage truck
Poppy – it belongs in the rubbish bin
Ryka – in the rubbish bin

Also this week, we have been investigating the stick and spiny leaf insects in the terrarium. Children have enjoyed finding and watching these fascinating insects, which were hanging from the branches and moving around on the leaves. Some children were extra brave and even had a little hold of a spiny leaf insect.

A friendly reminder to please send in a photo of your house for children to share and discuss. Thank you.
