Chapple Room

Dear Chapple Room Parents and Friends,

We have had a wonderful week, with many fun activities. We have been making bubble paintings, building with the woodwork and drawing beautiful illustrations on the overhead projector. The shaving foam has been a great sensory activity for us to further explore colour mixing and to develop our fine motor skills. The fire engine duplo has been hugely popular, and this created a lot of discussion about the meaning of colours. The highlight was making fruit juice ice blocks. We juiced oranges and apple and then froze them to make icey cold ice blocks. They were delicious and we can't wait to make them again! Next week we will begin our Easter discussions, continue to look at the effect of Autumn on our environment and will continue to discuss the meaning and uses of colour.

Thank you,
Chapple Room Team

Ms Coney (Connie) Rocca will join us as the Co-Educator in Chapple room from April 10th. Please join us in welcoming her to our Centre !
