Rock On!

We would like to thank our resident bass guitarist, Dion, for bringing his guitars and amps to the ELC for us to listen to and experiment with in the town square. Dion showed us the difference between electric and acoustic guitars and we learned how important an amp is…it was loud! We danced to acoustic and electric guitar and Dion even let us have a go!

"Dion has long hair because he's a real rock 'n roll guy" said Eddie
"Do you need long hair to be in a rock and roll band?" asked Mrs Nacca
"Yeah" said Eddie.
"You played in Dion's band on your drums but you don't have long hair?" reasoned Mrs Nacca
"'Cos I got long hair at home, it's witches hair. I'll bring it in and show you and then I can be a real rock and roll guy" said Eddie
"What if Dion cuts his hair short? Can he be in a rock and roll band then?" asked Mrs Nacca
"No! He can go to the barber and just have a little trim" clarified Eddie, "Dion has long dark hair like you Mrs Nacca" he added
"So can I be in Dion's rock and roll band?" asked Mrs Nacca
"Yeah, but a girls one, a girl rock and roll band" he said

Thanks again Dion,

Rock On!
