Langley Room

It's business as usual in the Langley Room during school holidays. We've been very busy examining a range of different flowers and have represented them using a broad selection of art materials. The children have enjoyed watching the flowers change during the week and have discussed what they can see as they create their art works. "I'm making flowers"said Jack O, "I need to put two stems" he added." Two stems" agreed Jack J, I put on two stems. It's a rectangle" he continued. Jack O also spotted some shapes " and these ones are squares and these ones are triangles" he pointed out."Dese are flowers, pink flowers" observed Sophie. Henry pointed to the flowers and explained where they had come from to the other children, "these are JJ's" he said."I'm making flowers" Grace told the other children.

If anyone has any flowers in their garden, we would love it if you could bring them in to share with us.

kind regards

Jess, Adele, Kerry and Jennifer
