We have continued to practise our numeracy skills with our
new snakes and ladders game, which has proved very popular.
We performed our
own version of the “Two Greedy Bears,” with Addison, Aston and William taking
the main roles. They did a great job of demonstrating what half and equal mean.
We have continued to develop our interest in growing and changing and we did
some amazing observational drawings of our sprouts.
William brought in a
coconut and we had great fun with our “will it sink or will it float?”
experiment.
The end of the week saw some very excited children, which
for many was their first school excursion, visiting the Museum. I am sure they
all enjoyed it, with many creating a new record for the quickest time to go
round all the galleries!
It is the zoo excursion on Monday 21st March and
we would be grateful for as many parent helpers as possible. If you are able to
come could you please let any of the Chapple staff know.
Thank you.
