Dear Families,
With Easter fast approaching we have been making plans for
our annual Easter Bonnet Parade. This will be held on Thursday the 24th
of March at 11.00 in our Town Square.
If your child is a Thursday child you can
help them participate by making a simple hat and adding some Easter themed
decorations, even bunny ears are fine. Our Easter Bonnet Parade is very casual
and relaxed and gives us the opportunity to mark the special time of the
year together in a small way.
Parents are welcome to come and watch us if you
wish. We hope that Easter Bunny might even make an appearance (if we are very
lucky, after all, it is his busiest time of year!). If he does manage to hide
some treats in our garden we will have lots of fun collecting them and then
share them out with our classmates so that they can be consumed at home to
avoid any issues for children with allergies.
Our parade and egg hunts will be
finished by 1.00pm for families that are collecting Prep and Seniors schools boys
at 1.00pm on that day. Finally we would be really appreciative if parents reading
this would not tell their children about the possibility of an egg hunt, it’s
always so much more exciting when they unexpectedly discover it themselves!! J
Kind regards
Mel Bishop
