Dear Wilkins families,
Welcome to the second week of term. What a blast it has been. We
have welcomed a few new friends into the Wilkins room.
Our Wilkins friends have been very interested in the shadow wall
and have enjoyed watching their shadows follow them.
The Wilkins friends were lucky enough to go and visit some of the
baby chickens in the Chapple room Thursday morning. All of our friends enjoyed
talking about the cycle of a chicken and we even enjoyed have a feel of their
soft fluffy feathers.
Joshua – “Baby chicks. I can see eggs. They need light to see.”
Patrick - “Chickens. Na birdy. Aggs.”
Laura – “Look a chicken!”
Charlie – “Eggs.”
Hamish – “Baby chick.”
Joshua – “Yellow little ones.”
Alexander C – “Going cheep cheep cheep”
Hamish – “It has a hole where they get out.”
Patrick – “A baby chicken.”
Yifan – “Tickens.”
Liliana – “Baby chickens.”
Charlie – “Ohh fluffy.”
Lewis – “Baby chick lay egg.”
Hamish – “There’s 1,2,3,4,5 chickens.”
Some of our friends have enjoyed spending some time with our
student Miss Mary and the experiences she has brought into the class. These
experiences have included moulding with some clay, making gloop and singing
songs.
If you have any spare track pants you are not wanting could you please
bring them in as we are running super low with our spares. Thankyou.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, love the Wilkins girls.
