Dear Chapple Families
Our
conversations in colour this week have led us into a discussion on camouflage.
We have made some lizards to hide around the class. Can you spot them? They
might not be green!
Isaac: A green tree
frog, because it’s camouflaged. When someone puts a colour next to the frog it
changes colour
Bernie: If something gets
camouflaged, you can’t see it
Lachlan: I know why
something's camouflaged because of predators, so if I have a green tree frog and
it’s out of its normal place out of camouflaged then someone can eat it, but
then I put it back in its camouflaged then it won’t get eaten.
The
chicks are certainly getting bigger and if we ever get any eggs, we can
confidently say they are free range.
Footy
fever has hit the classroom. Port Power stormed off the field of play.
“Port
Power are not playing anymore”
“Why
not?”
“Because
the Crows are winning!”
“I
thought Port never give in?”
“They
do if they are losing!”
