Dear Mead Room families,
This week has seen us embark on a cooking frenzy! We were so inspired last week with our Anzac
biscuits that we’ve made them every day since!
The children were so well versed in this sensorial experience that they
were soon able to support the teachers by obtaining the ingredients and
reminding us of the method!
Lachlan – we need oats
Jack – the flour
Benjamin G – coconut
Christopher – butter, but melted
Wilbur – that honey stuff (golden syrup!)
Kartik – don’t forget the sugar
Benji – mix it!
Lola – pop it on the tray and flat it
Zoe – in the oven for the cooking
Lola – let them cool
Noah – EAT THEM!
We’ve been observing the vegetable seedlings starting to grow and
thrive in the vegie patch. They are
definitely loving the autumn weather.
Ned – that’s tomato… its going to get bigger you know
Our veterinary surgery was a bustling hive of activity with many
patients being seen this week. Numerous
broken bones, lots of sore tummies and several unknown ailments. The health professionals showed much empathy
and were extremely proficient in their before and after care service!
Congratulations to big brother Max and his Mum and Dad (Anny and Sergey) on the arrival of a new baby brother. The baby's name is still being decided upon!
Reminder: Mead Mum's Dinner RSVPs due now! Please return ASAP.
