Langley Room

What an exciting first week of holidays we have had.
The children really enjoyed having their hair done on Tuesday, followed by cooking on Wednesday and watching a movie on Thursday. Our biggest highlight was on Thursday when we went for a play on the tennis courts. When we were playing some of us noticed a fire truck parked in the driveway. Miss Emily went and asked the fire fighters if we could come and have a look at their truck.
We all watched as the fire fighters filled their hoses with water to make sure there weren't any holes in them. They then let all the water out and some of our shoes got wet !
One friendly fire fighter was kind enough  to show us some special torches they have. They flashed red and blue. The fire fighter told us that they put these special torches on the ground so that when its dark cars and people can see them.

Next week we have some more fantastic activities planned.

Monday: Cooking delicious honey crackles
Tuesday: Walk to the Playground at the big school
Wednesday: Teddy Bears Picnic. (Please bring your favourite teddy to school)
Thursday: Anzac day- No school today
Friday: PJ day (Wear your Pj's to school)

If you have any questions please speak to one of the staff members in the room

Thanks,

Nicole, Kerry, Emily and Miss Gray
