This Week In Langley

LANGLEY ON A BEAR HUNT

While some of the ELC have been on holidays the Langley room have been as busy as always! This week we went on a Bear Hunt!! The room was turned into Michael Rosen’s “We’re Going On a Bear Hunt” story book and all the children were encouraged to participate in a bear hunt of our own. We acted out each scenario, crossing the long wavy grass (Created by green pillows), a deep cold river (blue mattresses), thick oozy mud (the brown carpet) and so on. The children called out the words to the book as we stumbled across each hurdle saying “Oh ooo. We can't go over it, we can't go under it, oh no, we have to go through it!” The children had their own cave to crawl through which was big enough for all to fit in. A teddy bear was sitting waiting for them to reach at the end of the cave! We all had so much fun going on our bear hunt and look forward to going on more again soon!
