Dear Mead Room Families and Friends,
We started off the week venturing up to the Rainbow playground
with our Mattingley friends, we had a wonderful time and on the way back to the
ELC - we explored the boarding house vegetable garden! We picked some lemon
grass, handfuls of bright red cherry tomatoes and found 2 giant green
zucchinis!
Teddy: I went down the
fireman pole, really fast!
Iverson: I played hide and
seek with Teddy
Zara: The tomato was
yummy!!
Zahli: I liked helping to
pick the zucchini
Poppy: I like tomatoes!
As the week went on, the mornings were getting hotter and hotter-
so we spent our time outside running through the sprinkler, splashing in
puddles and keeping cool!
Zara: I liked splashing
in the water! Muddy puddles!
Cody: I liked running
through the sprinkler
We created a dinosaur nature table using clay, sticks we collected
from the yard, spiky pods, wooden rounds and of course, dinosaurs! We enjoyed getting
our hands messy, squishing and squelching the clay, moulding all sorts of
different creations!
Next week we will spend full days visiting the Chapple Room,
please drop off as per normal and from 9am the Mead children will spend their
day in Chapple with Miss Elodie and Miss Beth.
We hope you enjoy your weekend!
Miss Boler and Miss Beth
