Dear Mead Room Families and Friends,
Welcome to 2018! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New
Year.
This week we have begun our transition visits into the Chapple
Room, preparing ourselves to become big Chapple children. We joined Miss
Elodie at Morning Meeting and explored our new learning environment.
This week we watched several Playschool episodes about
experiments! From this we have created some beautiful paintings! On Monday, we
made “Roly Poly Ball Paintings”. We found different sized balls in the Mead
Room, chose our paint colours and began rolling! This was a lot of fun!
On Wednesday, we made “Wax Water Colour Panting’s”. Firstly, we
drew a picture using a white crayon, on white paper and then we painted over
the top, revealing the illustration.
Mr Oopy the Bubble Man, came to visit on Thursday! Everyone had a
wonderful time dancing, singing and chasing bubbles of all shapes and sizes!
Zara, Ronnie and Christian all had a turn singing into the microphone!
