Dear
Angwin families and friends,
Happy 2018! Hope you had a great break having spent it with your dear loved
ones. We had a few friends coming back to Kindy and we had such a wonderful
time hearing about what presents Santa gave and all the great adventures the
children engaged in.
The quiet class has given the children the
opportunity to engage deeply in their chosen interests. The focus this week has
been the children’s creative genius may it be in painting, creating models or
drawing. This allows for self expression and even storytelling as the process
evolves, developing children’s language and confidence in speaking. The
favourite so far has been working with Lego encouraging the children to create
freely or challenge themselves by following step by step instructions. Either
way, the children enjoy sharing about their work whether it’s easy or tricky
for their growing fingers.
We had Mr OOPY come on Thursday bringing loads of fun, entertainment and a dash
of silliness to the children. They thought he was so hilarious they couldn’t
stop laughing about his antics.
Felix- I loved the dancing part. It was funny especially when he said “bananas
don’t eat bananas"
Thomas- I loved the big bubbles in the end cause we could pop them!
Jason- It’s funny when he swaps his name. He used lots of silly
words like Mr Oppy Poopy.
Fred- He was so good at making big bubbles. We chased them when the fan
blows them.
Daniel- The giant bubbles were very fun. They are the biggest bubbles
I’ve even seen before.
Billy- The giant bubbles. I loved them. I got them all over my head and
my nose.
We are looking forward to next week of holidays.
