Dear Wilkins families and friends,
The beginning of the week saw us finishing our
preparations for our Princesses Tea Party. Thank you to all the Mums who joined
us for morning tea on Thursday - we hope you enjoyed spending the morning with
your children, exploring our classroom and outside area and being pampered in
our parlour. If you weren’t able to join us, please come and see one of the
teacher to collect your special Mother’s Day present. We wish all our Mums a
very Happy Mother’s Day for Sunday.
It hasn’t all been about Mothers Day this week though -
we have also explored mud and sand, role played in our home corner with the
baby dolls, created using glue and collage materials, explored shapes at the
play dough table, continued our exploration of Autumn using different coloured
leaves, planted in our veggie garden, investigated movement and motion using
the cars and so much more!
We want to share and explore children’s favourite story
books over the coming weeks. Please add your child’s favourite story to the
story board outside our classroom so we can begin these investigations.
Best wishes,
Ellen, Melissa, Chelsea and Courtenay
