Dear Families,
We are looking
forward to a busy week of celebrations in the ELC in Week 2.
On Monday there will be a Lion Dance at 11am to help us
celebrate Chinese New Year. If your child has a Chinese outfit we are asking
them to wear them (and bring along a change of clothes) and for all the other
children we are asking if they can wear a touch of red ie. t-shirt, ribbon,
hat, socks to make the day more festive. There will be a Chinese lunch served
for us to enjoy!

On Tuesday we will be
making pancakes in the classrooms to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, the day before the start of Lent when all the good
food is used up in people’s pantries. We will cater for all children’s dietary
needs with this. Reverend Mark will be coming down to talk to the 4 year olds about
this special day.
It will be a festive week in the ELC!
Kind Regards,
ELC staff
