Dear Families
Towards the end of the financial year we had many families confused about their Child Care Rebate (CCR) payments. Our system was programmed to cut the CCR payments once a family had reached 85% of their entitlement so that families did not incur a Centrelink debt if they went over their $7500 CCR threshold.
We have contacted our software provider for advice and Mandy and I are now in the process of trying to align your accounts with the Family Assistance Office. This means that accounts will now be charged weekly in arrears and should enable us to provide you with an account that is more accurate and not estimated. The 85% CCR estimation option has been disabled.
We have trialled the first run of statements today. If you have any questions regarding your statement please contact me and I will endeavour to explain your account to you. Not an easy thing to do at times!
