Cooper

Dear Cooper families,

The Cooper room have had another wonderful week settling into the room. The children have been particularly excited about starting our PE sessions in the Prep school gym. It is quite an adventure walking down to the gym and looking all of the winter trees and collecting leaves along the way.

When the children were asked what they wanted to do at PE some of the responses were fast running and throwing balls. Luckily when we arrived at the gym we found that two of the activities that were provided were running and throwing balls!

The children had so much fun throwing, catching, kicking and bouncing a variety of different sized balls.

We had many running races where we had to hop, skip, run and even pretend we were ginormous dinosaurs. It was lots of fun.

Many of the Cooper children have been very interested creating wooden block buildings in the building area. The children have been using the toy tools to assist in their building projects. As this has been such a popular activity we will be building on this next week using real tools in group time activities.

Kind regards,

Maddie and Cris
