Dear Edgerley Families
and Friends,
Thanks Cleo (Emerson's
mum) for coming in and making Apricot Balls with us! We loved getting our hands
into the sticky mixture! A very sweet delight. We have LOVED bringing in
something sweet for our Show and Tell. In fact, it has helped us wonder about
good sugars, bad sugars, how sugar is made, brown sugar, white sugar and so on!
We had a good look at how much sugar goes into a can of Coke. We started off
imagining that we could eat 1 teaspoon of sugar, then 2, then 3 and before we
knew it we were starting to feel very sick. We counted 13 teaspoons of sugar !
We've enjoyed Ms Fahey's
visits. She is the PAC school boys' new teacher. She has really had a fabulous
time getting to know all the children. We are looking forward to our special
mornings with her.
Transition Visit next week:
please refer to the note sent to you from Mr Neil Andary with all the details.
However a reminder that ALL Edgerley
boys (including Edgerley boys who don’t normally attend on Tuesdays) will
assemble in Edgerley at 8:45am. Mrs Baird and Mrs Rocca will take the boys
up to their new classrooms. Mrs Rocca will stay with the boys. Mrs Baird will
return to Edgerley with the children who are not attending PAC Prep School.
These children will have the very important job of helping the Cooper children
enjoy their Transition Visit. Don’t forget to pack your son’s drink bottle
and a small container of fruit or vegetables to eat with his new class.
Don't forget to come and
try the local delicacies at the Edgerley Bakery! Thanks Annie (Bruno's
mum) for donating many of our materials! We specialise in sprinkle donuts,
cupcakes and croissants!
See you all next week!
Coney, Juliana and
Katherine
