Chapple Room

We had a great time during our Show and Share morning on Thursday . Showing off our work gave us all a sense of pride and it was lovely looking back at how far we’ve come so far this year. Some of the children have worked their way over from the Langley Room, which showed an amazing journey ! The children enjoyed sharing their food with the class, but the best part by far was slowly sampling all the delicious goodies that others had brought in. It was interesting hearing each child’s description of their food and how it got from paddock to plate.

Seb M - Sausages rolls, my mum made them with some this (points to pastry). I'm going to have a taste of one.
Markis – There is meat, there it is inside of the middle
Seb Mac – It comes from a cow. Cause (because) it’s a roll. Crust, it's crust on the outside. Sugar is the green stuff. It's green sugar.
Bayley – Cookies, chocolate chip cookies. We got flour from the wheat. Mayple syrup. Choplept (chocolate) from cocoa.
Liam – It has a hole in it and you push right into it. They are sprinkle cupcakes.  We do eat them but at bedtime we don’t eat them. Everyone all eat those cupcakes.
Sebastian v – Fairy bread. With milk. We had the milk then we put it in the butter. And 100 and 1000’s. I don’t know (where they come from). It's on bread.
James W – I got sugar in them and butter and milk. Oh and eggs from chickens. Milks from cows. And sugar, where does sugar come from? It comes from a sugar cane. This animals are dangerous. Like snakes and lions they do eat you. These are from the supermarket (points to patty pan and animals).
Izabella – Its hummos and bread. Its makes of chickpeas. So you put, well you mash it up. Its Zatiki, and cucumber and garlic and sour cream it in. there is celery and cucumber. And carrot.
Markis C – These are my new cupcakes they have tatanas (sultanas) in them. They come from the bakery. Just tatanas. No flour or meat. And eggs, we made the eggs into cupcakes. And if you love it you can eat it!
Christian – It’s got raspberries in it. There is milk and eggs. I got it from the cow. They come from (rasberries) the bushes. No but there is eggs and milk.
Samuel – Chippies. They are just plain ones with a bit of salt. Well I got it from a big packets and there is still more. And the packet came from the petrol station. I think they I don’t know how they came in. They are like this kind of colour inside and when you eat them they stay in the same colour on the inside. It’s not healthy. I don’t think these chips have potatoes in them. I don’t know where they came from or how they got made.
Abhi – They have letters on them. I used milk and butter, my mum used that.
Asterios – They are jelly beans (smarties) oh no wait they are smarties. And the rice crackers have rice in them. And cheese comes from a cow.

Thank you to all the parents who took the time out of their busy schedules to provide some food, but also to come and share the morning with their child. It was very special!
