Dear Langley Families,
This week the children from the Chapel class visited the Langley
children and kindly brought the chickens to show. The children were shocked as to how big the
chickens have grown.
The Langley class has been following the chicken’s development
throughout the term and have enjoyed watching their growth cycle. We were there
when they cracked out of their eggs and as they grew from baby chicks to now.
(“Big grownup chickens”) It has been very exciting for the Langley children to
have had the opportunity to have been a part of this experience, and being able
to watch the chicken’s progression over the last few months.
The chicken have a beautiful home outside in the big yard, so
please feel free to go for a wonder and have a look with your child.
This week some
children visited the Cooper class and seemed to have a fantastic time with Miss
Gilbert. Andrew, Sebastian, Charlie, Zara, Henry, Teddy and Lexie all sat and
had a little picnic in the tent area, eating cupcakes and drinking juice! Kingsley
and Aston really enjoyed the transparent block on the light table, stacking
them up to make tall buildings and stairs. Some children also enjoyed painting
rainbows with a range of bright colours.
All the educators
from the Langley class are sad to see such fun, loving and happy children leave
their class and we are going miss them all very much. I am sure that the children transitioning in
to the cooper room will have a fantastic time in their new classroom with their
new teachers.
Have a great weekend
everybody and we will see you next week for the last week of Term Two.
From Miss Renee,
Miss Sarah, Miss Brooke and Miss Emily.
