Dear Parents
and Friends,
We have had an
action packed short week in the Edgerley Room. We have continued our visits up
to our new room, going to Chapel and having a morning tea picnic in the
Colourful playground. The boys are loving these experiences and feeling more at
home in this new environment. A big thank you to those parents who came along
for the Information Meeting on Wednesday. It was a great opportunity to share
with you, our routines and expectations for Reception.
Our boys have
continued to enjoy our weekly Chinese sessions in the ELC. This week they loved
hearing a story completely in Chinese, about some different animals and
welcoming a new animal to the neighbourhood.
As part of show
and tell we loved hearing Nathan’s concert on the piano. We talked about being
part of an audience and what a performer does to introduce his piece as well.
It has been
fantastic to see the way our friends work together on joint projects. There are
images of Oliver and Nathan working together co-operatively to create a house
with the 3D shapes. There was so much joy and excitement when they had worked
through the learning process, problem solving and negotiating how their design
would work.
Our whole class
has been working on a joint project with the Angwin Room, creating an amazing
rainbow snake using the milk bottle tops that we have been collecting. We have
been making some amazing patterns and are looking forward to sharing our
masterpiece in the Workshop for everyone to enjoy!
Please remember
our Move Up mornings for the next two Wednesdays!
Kind Regards,
Pip, Emma, Ty
and Rosalie
