Dear Langley Families
This week the children enjoyed lots of water play in the
sun. On Wednesday we went for a walk to the Red Centre and had a big run in the
stadium. Friday we had a lovely picnic on the oval under the trees and we
played a few games, even had a running race on the tennis courts! Santa will be
receiving lots of letters from the Langley children as they have enjoyed
drawing him pictures and posting them in our special letter box! The
construction corner was a hit! The children were banging and hammering away with
their hammers and hard hats, they also experimented with different sounds using
the pipes and blocks of wood when they were working away!
We explored our senses and created beautiful art pieces
using flavoured tea bags dipped in water. The children really enjoyed talking
about what scent they could smell and what colour the water changed to when the
bags were dunked.
Rosie – “that smells yummy!”
Poppy – “it smells like…. mmmm lemon”
Ashlynn – “that one is pink, it smells like strawberry”
In preparation for next week please be aware, we will be
making some trips to the red centre and library so could you please arrive
before 9 am on Tuesday and Friday.
Please ensure you pack your child’s hat and water bottle and
spare clothes each day.
Miss Emily will be on holidays but Miss Brooke will still be
here J
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Brooke, Miss Emily, Miss Lucy, Mr Karl and Miss
Melissa.
