Dear
Cooper Room Families and Friends,
It’s been
an exciting and fun start to the school holidays - summer program. We commenced
the week over in the Red Centre playing a variety of balls games to enhance the
children’s physical development The children have been engaging in sensory play
experiences particularly showing an interest in the trough container filled
with rice, cups and measuring spoons used for dumping and filling. The art and
craft table has taken a hit with the children making the most gorgeous and
creative Christmas ornaments and puffy paint snowmen. Wet ‘n’ Wild day was
a lot of fun and the weather didn’t deter the children from getting wet. The
sprinkler was the highlight of the day, the children excitedly ran through it
whilst others played in the sand pit as the water sprinkled on them.We look forward to the final week of the 2014 school holidays. Where has this year gone? It’s been a fun and busy one that’s for sure.
Happy
Weekend everyone and be safe. See you all again next week.
Love from
Miss C and Miss Emma.
