Mead

Dear Mead Families

This week we have continued our discussions of the changes we experience as we grow older;

Scarlet – I couldn’t walk and couldn’t talk.  I just had a little bit of hair and then I grew up… and then I had long hair.

We have noticed that some of our broad beans have flowered and tiny beans are growing where the flowers used to be.

Lucy – That’s a change

Tate – It was the seed, then it grew and now its big

We have also been investigating change and cycles through discussions surrounding night and day and the phases of the moon;

Lucy – The sky gets a little bit orange when night is coming

Maxime – When the sun goes orange my grandma calls it sunset

Ellie – Nocturnal animals are awake in the night

Jack – You have to put the lights on

Benjamin G – I go to sleep in the night

Zoe – Sunrise for the day

Abigail – We eat breakfast

Spencer – snakes slither in the day

To support our Wellbeing we have also been discussing the importance of keeping our bodies moving, hydrated and eating healthy foods – our fruit platters for morning tea are always a big hit and PE is just the thing for getting us moving!!

Have a great weekend.
