Dear Edgerley Families and
Friends,
It’s great timing that our ELC is
expanding just at the same time that we are exploring our Unit of Inquiry:
Noiseworks! We often hear bangs and drilling and some machinery that we haven’t
heard of before. We asked the children what all the noises were and why we
could hear them.
Sabian: They’re building a new
PAC. My daddy said there was not enough PAC.
Edward: The PAC going to bang it
like that.
Harry P: They building more
classrooms we need more kids to get help for them.
Mrs Baird: What will we need for
the new children?
Oliver: More tables for the new
children.
Pauline: More sandpits.
Hudson: But how we get out then?
Kristian: More apples, real
apples.
Harry P: More carpets.
Hudson: We can’t get out if
there’s lots of tables in front of us.
Max: Chairs. We need chairs.
Pauline: We need more playroom.
Harry P: Toys!
Kristian: More apples for the
children.
Jackson: More cooks otherwise we
won’t have enough to help Mr Rob.
Kristian: Beautiful new stairs.
That would make it beautiful.
Pauline: More mats so the little
ones can sleep.
Harry P: Clocks.
Oliver: More books.
Henry: Toys.
Florence: Trains. They will need
trains.
Edward: A town forrest.
Liam. They need blocks.
Harry P: Doors.
Well done Edgerley – you are
being very thoughtful about all the new children we are preparing for.
Looking forward to an exciting
week ahead as we venture further into our interest of tree houses, sirens and
teeth!
