Big Boys Breakfast

It has been a special week as we prepared to celebrate Father’s day with the Big Boys Breakfast. To begin with we talked about what we love about our Dads and shared the favourite things we like to do together. Many children brought in photos to share during show and tell. We created portraits and the children carefully talked about their special drawings. No celebration is ever complete without a gift so the children have also been busy creating a gorgeous handmade tie for their Dad to wear to the breakfast and a magnetic photo board to remember their special morning together. After a delightful concert and a feast of yummy pancakes the children excitedly took their Dad into the “Book Nook” and shared a few quiet or noisy moments reading a book together. What a special way to snuggle up close! We hope everyone enjoyed their morning and we wish all our  Dad’s a Happy Father’s day. You are very special to your children and it has been beautiful listening to the children talk so lovingly about why their Dad is so special !
