Wow
what another busy week we have had in the Langley room! Inspired by the
children’s bubble blowing in the water trough we have been creating bubble
paintings this week. We mixed food colouring with detergent and water to create
our masterpieces – it was a bit tricky because we had to remember to blow the
bubbles and not suck!
We
have also enjoyed role playing in our puppet theatre retelling familiar stories
and songs and making up some of our own story lines. We have had a focus on
developing our fine motor skills in our program this week, threading with beads
and letters and wrapping wool around pine cones. Outside we have been exploring
patterns in nature by examining different natural resources and using dried
agapanthus flowers to create easel paintings. We look forward to examining
other patterns in nature next week!
Best
wishes,
