Langley Room

Last week we welcomed some new swimming friends into our classroom – thanks Miss Amelia! The children peered into the side of the bowl to see what was in there. To their delight they spotted tiny little snails and some very fast swimming tadpoles. We have been using magnifying glasses to examine them more closely this week and have then created representations of them. As we have been watching them, we have been talking about what is going to happen to the tadpoles.
When they grow feet they will be frogs – Angus
Dat one’s flip it tail – Erin
All the tadpoles swim in the water eat weaves (leaves) – Charlie M
It’s got a tail and it swimming – Dougal
That’s going to be a frog when it’s bigger – Charlie A
This one’s a tadpole and he hides his food. That tadpole is wriggling - Joshua

Best wishes,

Jess, Kerry, Amelia and Nicole
