Dear Wilkins families and friends,
What another wonderful week of holidays we’ve had.
This week we have enjoyed doing easel paintings. We gave the
children bold colours to choose from -
this allowed the children to paint and create whatever they desired.
Sienna – “Look at my painting!”
Paige – “I did a painting for my
mummy!
We have also enjoyed time outside when the weather has been appropriate. On Thursday morning, Mrs Renee decided to get out a tub of water.
The Wilkins and Langley friends spent lots of time bathing our babies and
making sure they were all nice and clean. We washed their hair and even washed
their clothes to hang out and dry. What a fun morning it was!
We have also been busy at the play-doh table this week. This has
been a shared interest for the past few months with the Wilkins children. We
have enjoyed making shapes and cutting with the scissors. This is a great
experience as it allows the Wilkins children to engage in working together and
also to develop trusting relationships with their peers.
This week we have spent some time in the Work Shop. We have
enjoyed riding the cars and bikes around the work shop. This is a nice area to
get out when the weather isn’t great but still allows our Wilkins friends to
get out for a run and play!
Thank you again for another wonderful week in the Wilkins room.
We hope you have a wonderful and safe weekend and we look forward
to seeing you next week!
Love Mrs Nicole, Miss Ellen, Miss Georgia and Miss Kim xxxxxx
