Dear Mattingley families and friends,
This week the children have been taking what they have learnt form
each other about the machines they use at home and have been incorporating them
into their play.
In the cubby house the children were using a 'popcorn machine' to
make a yummy snack.
We're making some popcorn - Poppy
I cook the popcorn in the microwave then it go pop pop pop! - Toby
It's party time - Ashlynn
Smells good! Yummy yummy! - Kennedy
Harry and Ashvin turned one on the climbing frames into a train.
We drive the train. We go on and on - Harry BB
It takes us where we want to go - Ashvin
Teddy, Ashlynn, Poppy and Isla were very busy in the garden using
their 'oven' to make their cake together.
The oven needs to be hot to cook it - Poppy
Very hot. Be careful - Teddy
We make the cake - Ashlynn
We stirred it - Isla
