Dear
Mattingley families and friends,
On Tuesday
afternoon we were lucky enough to have Liam's Mum, Tatiana come into our
classroom to help us with a special project. Together we made 'Sprout
Heads'. Tatiana asked us what we would need for the seeds to grow.
She then showed us the tiny little Alfalfa seeds that we would be using to make
our sprout heads. Using our pincher fingers we put some seeds into the end of a
stocking and then added some potting soil. After tying a knot at the end of the
stocking, Tatiana showed us how to dunk the stockings into water to help the seeds
grow. We promised that we would water them every day.
You need

It will

They will

It’s dirt

My garden
is growing. The seeds will grow and grow- Harry H
Since
Tuesday we have been observing our Sprout Heads very carefully to see if we can
see any changes. On Wednesday there was no change but we watered them carefully
to make sure they had enough water to grow. Thursday morning there were tiny
tiny little shoots coming out of the top of some of our sprout heads. On Friday
they were a little bigger. I wonder how much they will grow over the long
weekend? Make sure you come in and have a look next week to see.
Thank you
Tatiana for sharing your time with us and helping us to make our wonderful
Sprout Heads.
