Dear Chapple Families,
Our busy week started off with a visit from the Fire
Brigade. They taught us all about what to do if we saw a fire and what we could
do to get out safely. We also had chance to use the hose from the fire engine
and squirt water in the car park.
We also started our maths investigation into our favourite
pet and made a great graph on the carpet.
Jess from The Hutt St Centre came to the Centre this week to
collect the cheque for $143. The children had a cupcake sale to help the
homeless of Adelaide following a discussion on homes in class. They hoped to
raise $70 to buy a swag and sleeping bag. Amazingly they doubled their target.
Thanks again to all the parents for their support.
Don’t forget the Literacy Program Meeting this Wednesday 25th
June at 4pm.
Thanks
Chapple Team
