The fire at Wingfield proved timely this week as we looked at 'hot' colours in Cooper. Many of the children were keen to tell us about seeing the smoke in the sky or the fire on the television.
"It was big and the smoke was all over the sky - I couldn't believe it" exclaimed Fletcher.
"I saw the smoke and the fire" said Angus
"I saw the fire on TV on news" Louis told us.
"The fire was near my dad's work, he had to go home. They put out it, the fire" said William
"I saw the fire on the news the other night and it was next to my daddy's work. The fire truck came and then they do the water with some hose so the fire can go away" explained Sebastian M.
The children used red, orange and yellow to paint hot flames and, of course, red to paint the bright red fire trucks.
Kind regards,
Ali, Rachel, Renee and Janine
