Welcome back from the Easter break, what a short week it has been!
As we may have seen the last of the warm weather for another season, we have taken every opportunity to be outdoors and active. Along with walking up to the big school for a play on the ‘big boy’s’ playground, bug hunting has also been very popular. Many Minibeasts such as spiders, praying mantis’, moths, butterflies and beetles have all been investigated.
We have also worked hard this week to create a playmat for the animals and dinosaurs. Using paint and papier mache, we have created volcanoes, a waterhole, rocks, deserts, trees and grass.
Oliver K said ‘Look at the dirt! There’s lots of dirt on here! You can put grass on top of the dirt. Maybe the animals will climbs on these rocks. My bit is a desert.’
