Dear Parents and Friends,
We have had a wonderful end to Term 1, with lots of Easter
activities… making cards for our loved ones, an Easter hunt with our Year 3M
buddies, eating Easter cupcakes, Easter baskets to fill with special gifts from
each other and even 2 real bunnies come in for a visit! We decorated and dyed
real hard bolied eggs and Alexander shared what he and his family does with
eggs for Greek Easter celebrations. Our class bakery sold many many hot cross
buns!
On Thursday we had a talk about the first Easter sharing how
much God loves us all by sending Jesus to live and die amongst us. We talked
about the new life He gives us that we celebrate at Easter time.
A big thank you for all your support and contributions to
make the term so successful for our Edgerley boys!
