Dear Chapple Families and Friends!
We have had a lovely two weeks of holidays! The usual pace of each
day has slowed right down and the children have really enjoyed having the space
and the time to extend their activities in the classroom. Embracing the new
season, we decided to build a tent in the classroom! The children have made it
cosy by adding a camp fire. We have also had the opportunity to do some
cooking, and with the tent, what better than damper! We will also be making
Anzac Biscuits as we build up to the 100 year celebration!
A final surprise is that one of our monarch butterflies has
emerged from its chrysalis and the children were able to delight in setting it
free!
Thanks to everyone for getting on board with our special days like
pyjama day and crazy hair day! the children really love it! And thanks to Miss
Kerry for joining us in the Chapple room these holidays and bringing in heaps
of fun ideas and projects! I will be away from April 23 through to May 1
as I am going on a family camping trip, but Mr Charlwood will be back
with bells on on Tuesday!
See you all next week as we kick off term two!
Kind regards
