Chapple

Dear Chapple Families

We had a great time on our excursion to Channel Ten. Everyone was so welcoming. Firstly, we saw Seamus Evans from Totally Wild and he told us all about the animals he had met and asked the children about their favourite ones. He also showed us his juggling skills too.

The Studio Operations Manager told us all about what they did in the studio and then took us down to the news desk. Nick Butler, the sports presenter came and spoke to us about what he did. We had lots of questions about sport. Then we went to the green screen room and met Kate Freebairn, the weather presenter, who let us have a go at reading the night’s weather.

Finally we returned to the news desk and watched Rebecca Morse record the news update. We had to keep really quiet! Then we invaded the news desk and had our photo taken with her. She even let Mr Charlwood read the news. It was a great excursion. Thank you Channel Ten for being such good fun.

Check out all the photos outside the classroom.
