Dear Chapple Families
Christmas has hit the Chapple Room earlier than the Pageant.
The children are full of ideas and a gingerbread house has led to Santa’s
workshop and a Nativity stable. There a few 'under construction' signs up as the
children’s enthusiasm transforms the classroom.
The transition visit went really well this week and the
children began to feel at home and enjoyed playing with some of the current
Reception boys.
Toby tried to sort the traffic chaos, when the children were
on the bikes, with a set of traffic lights he had made. James W added some
speed bumps as traffic calming devices. Everyone soon became involved. I am not
sure the track flowed any smoother, but it was sure fun watching them try!
Show and tell continues to be full of surprises! Angus G was
particularly amusing, although we never really stopped laughing long enough to
find out what it was all about!
We are looking forward to our Channel Ten excursion on
Tuesday. We will now leave at 10.00am to co-ordinate with the reading of the
news! Thank you for all of the offers of help from parents, if you could be at
the ELC for 9.50am that would be great. We should be back for 12.30
Thanks
