Dear Edgerley Family and Friends,
This
week we have been preparing for Christmas. It’s been an exciting time making
wreaths, chains and a miniature Christmas tree using pine cones. We have loved
looking at clouds and using our imaginations to make pictures:
Harrison: I see a giant castle
with a giant
Max: My dragon is breathing fire!
Sebastian: There is a clock and a
mouse
We have then been making collages
of our cloud imagination using bubble wrap, greaseproof paper, cellophane, old
dockets and lots of glue!
Congratulations to 8 of our
Edgerley children who graduated on Thursday. Pauline, Florence, Sebastian,
Liam, Thinura, Henry, Jackson and Hugo will all start school in January. We
were very excited to help them celebrate, but we are also sad to farewell them.
We can’t wait for next week when we will spend as much time playing with them
as we can. Thank you to the Edgerley families who were able to attend the
morning and bring in some party food. We loved singing songs to you and hearing
what our 8 graduates would like to be when they grow up!
Next week proves to be a very
exciting one as we enjoy our ELC Christmas Party on Wednesday and a Christmas
High Tea on Friday. Mrs Rocca and Mrs Baird will be making the most of their
time together (doing crazy dancing and making silly jokes) before Mrs Baird
finishes up in the Edgerley room on Thursday.
Have a super weekend!
Coney, Renee, Nickarla and
Katherine
