Dear Cooper families and friends,
We have continued with our Christmas celebrations and have
begun to make our very own Christmas tree. The Cooper children have painted
their hands and using their handprints we have formed the leaves for our tree,
next we will think about what we are going to put on top. There have been lots
of discussions about a shinny star... it will be a big surprise!
Continuing on the line of celebrations the children walked
to the Red Centre this week to cheer on the older boys at their swimming
events. There were lots of supporters and we made lots of noise shouting the
names of the house teams. GO WATERHOUSE, GO COTTON, GO WATSFORD and GO TAYLOR!
Also the children have been very excited that one of our
silk worms has spun his cocoon
“Dey wiggle like caterpillars” said Domenic
“Look he wiggle!” shouted Max pointing at the silk worm
“Now it a cocoon” noticed Daniel
“It’s yellow!” shouted Toby
“What’s it doing in der?” asked Archie
There are lots of caterpillars that are really big, and with
the extra leaves that Luca kindly brought in, we are hoping they too will soon
make cocoons. We are all very curious as to what will come out, do you know?
Love Mrs Lock and Miss Bowden
