Dear
Edgerley families and friends,
Welcome
back to all the families who have been on holidays!
Week
2 of the holidays wrapped up on a high as the children (and teachers) engaged
in some fun activities.
Firstly we made a little newspaper cubby to go in and out of the block corner and
build houses within a house.
We
also got to bring in our favourite books and shared them with the class.
We
all had a great time on 'Disco Day' busting some cool moves on the dance floor
to our favourite music.
Gangnam
Style still proved to be the favourite! We knew so much about the song that we
sang all the words in it.
Music,
disco balls, laser lights, balloons and neon glowlights! What more would you
ask for on a Disco Day!!!
We
also made a little garden out of the milk bottles we have collected and the
children gladly helped put some potting
mix in them then the new colourful petunias and watered them. We hope to see
them bloom very soon.
It's
been a great two weeks of holidays and we all had so much fun.
Mrs Baird will be back next week and we are all looking
forward to it!
Show
and Tell:
Week 1: Please bring in a copy picture of your family members.
This will be used in a lot of our literacy and numeracy activities throughout
the Term. Please let us know if you need a picture printed or copied.
Week
2: We will talk about teams and what makes them special. Children can talk about
their favourite teams in class e.g. sport, craft, playgroup teams etc.
Specialist
Classes will resume as normal next week. Thank you and see you all next week.
Coney,
Rosalie and Renee
