Hello Cooper friends and families
We have had a very busy week in the Cooper Room. On Tuesday
we celebrated Shrove Tuesday with the class, cooking delicious pancakes. We
also had a visit from three police officers from one of the Adelaide’s Police
Stations. They talked with the class about what to do when you get lost, we got
to hold a pair of hand cuffs, try on a police hat and we were also able to sit
in the police cars and listen to the very loud sirens!
On Thursday we celebrated Chinese New Year with a
spectacular Lion Dance performed by some senior school international
students. All of the children worked together to create some loud music to
create a magical atmosphere. Some of the Cooper children also participated in
the dance by feeding the big lion!
Have a great weekend and stay cool!
