Dear Wilkins and Langley Families,
For the first week of the holidays we have been busy little
bee’s – to start off with the yard had a big make over, over the weekend. The
children really enjoyed building in the construction corner and measuring with
the measuring tapes, we spoke about how we are going to plant seeds in our new
planter boxes, we enjoyed dressing up and playing ball sports with each other –
we even got to have an adventure in the BIG yard and had some fun with the
bikes!
The Langley and Wilkins children have come together for a
couple of cooking experiences – on Tuesday we made special gluten free and
dairy free cookies with Miss Amy, on Wednesday we made guacamole with Miss
Kerry. The children really loved helping in the process and later enjoying the
taste!
Over the week we have had some fun on the light table with
our self-portraits, the children have been tracing their beautiful features
with a marker on laminating paper.
Friday was such a grooving day! Looking rockin’ in our
outfits we danced along to some tunes with instruments, glow sticks and
bubbles! So much fun!
A friendly reminder for next week…
Monday the 7th July, we will be doing melting
experiments, any questions please see staff.

Thank you,
Miss Emily, Miss Kerry, Miss Amy, Miss Brooke, Miss Renee.
