This week's hot weather had the children talking about how they like to keep cool when it is hot. some of the suggestions were going to the pool and the beach, eating ice blocks, sitting next to a fan and running under the sprinkler. So Mr Kerber brought a sprinkler in on our very hot day and he and the children connected it to the hose. They then excitedly took off their shoes and made a line ready to take turns running through the cool shower of water. We also got out some blow up boats which prompted the children to sit in the boats together singing 'row row your boat...'
On Friday Miss Kerry cut up some oranges and put them in the freezer for afternoon tea. The children called them orange ice blocks and they were very popular indeed. You may like to try this at home on a hot summer's day!
We sadly farewell Mr Kerber as he begins an exciting new adventure in his new job. We thank Mr Kerber for all his wonderful work and sharing many fun times with him throughout his time at PAC.
