Angwin

Dear Parents and Friends,

This week in the Angwin Room we have spent lots of time working together on group co-operative play. The children have gone further with their exploration of volcanoes, creating some very tall spurts of larva and many Duplo volcanoes.
The painting easels have buzzed with children creating their own volcano images. Here are some of the children’s ideas…

James: A volcano erupts
Thomas: There’s lightning and ash coming from inside the volcano
James: It’s rumbling and there’s fire coming out of the top
Jed: The volcano is exploding. Ash is changing. The larva is coming out
Sammy: The larva is coming down inside the volcano. The ash is suffocating everyone
Joshua S:  The larva is going up into the air. It is coming from deep inside
Walter: The volcano is erupting. It is scary. The larva is flowing down the mountain

There have been many shared experiences where the children have enjoyed creating new worlds with bugs, dinosaurs or combining Mobilo with block play.
It is exciting to see the team work that is happening all around our room!

Mrs Rocca and Miss Jen will be working with the children during the Spring holiday program.

Wishing you a wonderful Spring weekend!

Kind Regards,

Pip and Coney
