Mattingley

Dear Mattingley Families and Friends.

This week we have been wrapping up our investigation into the heart. An Ox's heart was bought in for the children to look at and touch. Whilst they were looking, the children were asked some questions to find out some of the information they have discovered about the heart.

Mrs Mason - What does the heart do?

Hridhaan - It pumps blood.

Lachlan - It looks like meat.

Mrs Mason - What happens if your heart stops?

Hridhaan - The oxygen won't run and you won't be alive.

Mrs Mason - How does it feel?

Lachlan - Good

Nathan - This is a big one. Wow!

The children continue to enjoy using the stethoscope to check listen to each other's hearts.

To celebrate Mrs Mason's last day in the classroom Miss Ruggiero, Miss Baldasso and the children threw her a party to wish her well on the arrival of her baby. There were balloons, cupcakes, music, dancing and lots and lots of laughter.

Dylan- We celebrating!

We would like to wish Mrs Mason all the best with the birth of her first baby. We look forward to hearing about her special news and meeting her little one when the time is right. We wonder if it is going to be a boy or a girl?

We wish you all a wonderful weekend,
Cass, Liana and Kimberley
