Mead

Dear Mead Room families and friends,

We are still very much engaged in our Skeletal system inquiry and Recycling too, plus our expeditions into the big school, and our ELC surrounds, continues to stimulate our interest in the seasons.  The children observe so many changes in their environment and articulate what they see and feel with great enthusiasm!

Christian S – Red leaves, lello leaves, green leaves, come from up the tree.  They fall down.
Bill – No swimming at the beach…. too cold!
Christian V – Leaves fall off ‘cos of Winter. The wind blows them off. It can be sunny and cold.
Grace-Marie – Its sunny.. but its cold… I wear a hat.
Isla D-G – The leaves fall off… it doesn’t make any sense!  Too cold for a t-shirt.
Jimmy – Puffy jacket because its VERY cold!
Leonardo – Apples fall down from the tree now. Its cold.
Millie – I don’t like picking up the leaves ‘cos they’re all wet… Mum scraped them up. The leaves come from the trees ‘cos its Autumn and Winter.
Owen – Leaves came off the tree outside. They grow back on.
Max – The weather is cold. Jumpers on, long pants, a hat and a coat.
Tom – Leaves fall off… not all the trees, just some of the trees.
Elsie – Its cold in Winter. We warm up our house in the night.
Jack – I go swimming in hot (weather), but now I get cold and put a jumper on.

Have a lovely weekend.
