Dear Wilkins Families,
This week we have had a wonderful time preparing for our Christmas
celebrations. We have done lots of Christmas craft, dancing to carols and
reading books about Christmas. All the Wilkins educators would like
to say a huge thankyou to all the families that have given gifts, we really
appreciate the thoughts and kind words that were written.
The week has been busy with lots of water play as the weather has
been suitable. We have also done some beautiful water paintings in the outside
environment. Digging and cooking in the wet sandpit, making cakes and Christmas
lunches. The children enjoyed playing with the trucks and village people in our
new township area.
Over the
year we have enjoyed loving and nurturing each child and their individual
personalities. We have had many laughs and tears but most of all we have had
lots of FUN! The year is coming to an end and we are feeling very sad to see
some of the children move on, but know that they will thrive as they embark on
their new journey.
If we are not
going to see you next week, we wish you a very happy Christmas full of love and
laughter. We will see you all in the new year!
